I’ve had lots and LOTS of requests for more wallpaper packs. I’ve kind-of decided not to sell a lot of wallpaper anymore, mainly because it requires scouting out amazing vintage wallpaper, buying it, cutting it, mailing it, and it’s just a lot to do! So I’m only going to be buying enough to use for personal use. HOWEVER, this means I am letting go of LOTS of GORGEOUS papers! So, I’m doing something different.
Until it’s gone, I’m offering “grab-bags”. These will be rolls of 6 sheets of wallpaper, cut the full width of the roll (these rolls are between approximately 18 and 24 inches wide) and 1 foot long per piece. This is the equivalent of a pack of a dozen 9 by 12 sheets, because they are all at least 12 by 18. I am doing them for $9.99 each. Yep, that’s a lot of paper for under ten bucks.
You will get what you get, but you don’t have to worry because I only buy the MOST AMAZING papers. No ugly fillers, ONLY the good stuff. It will be a mix of the gorgeous sherbety and beautiful neutral colors you’ve seen in my packs of the past. You will get a randomly selected group of 6 different patterns. At this price, I’m not doing custom mixes. It’s just a grab-bag of gorgeousness! I promise, they’re beautiful papers all.
The photos here are all examples of the papers that I am cutting up for the grab bags. You won’t get all of these, but you WILL DEFINITELY get some of them in your mix.
So, they’re in the shop some time tonight or tomorrow. You can find them in the upper right hand corner where it says “Let’s Shop”. Until they’re gone! I hope you like them. Thank you so much for buying papers from me these past few years. I’ve totally enjoyed it, and I will still USE these gorgeous papers, just not buying in quantity anymore, so snap ‘em up while you can!
Oh, and I’m also selling a few full rolls in the shop too, and at a great price. And I have some AMAZING flocked double rolls, but I’m thinking I might list those on ebay. We’ll see on the flocked rolls. And who knows, I may throw in some other vintage treasures. While I’m in the spring cleaning mode! So watch me for the next day or two!
Thank you again for all your support. After I get this big wallpaper-sale-o-rama done, I may actually list some art for sale! That’d be a change!
This is the class sample for my July class at Paper Crown in Oklahoma City. If you’d like to join me, call (405) 848-2389 to sign up!
It’s a mobile with 2 little lovebirds dusted with clear glass glitter.
The banner reads “These are the beautiful days”, which if you read my blog you may know is kinda my motto. It’s a little phrase I made up to remind myself that these days are the beautiful days I’ll always long for when they’re over.
I love how the little lovebird is bringing a flower to his sweetheart.
Thought I’d share some pretty photos of pretty things around my normally pretty house. Like this stack of gorgeousness. Or these pretty chairs lined up in a row, like ladies in waiting, in my kitchen:
I need to remember the pretty things in life, because right now we are working on this MONSTROSITY in my back yard. This is still in the set-up phase, but it’s pretty much going to look like this when it’s done too! he he…. It’s a metal frame temporary pool that we can take down and put up every year.
It’s not much to look at, but it sure will be fun! The kids are so excited they can hardly stand it! Now, back to the regularly scheduled pretty programming:
I added 3 more of each of these packs to my WEBSITE today, not to etsy. My IT department (husband) fixed the glitch, and all should be rosey now. If you’ve already ordered papers, the last of them ships on Monday!
This is me, last summer. Trying to pick a photo to put on the “about” page of my website. And I’ve been thinking of either offering an on-line tutorial that you can subscribe to monthly, like one or two things a month, or maybe kits. It would be for things like my crowns. So I would teach you how to make the crowns, or sell a kit with everything you need to make the crown, along with instructions. Still thinking about it. What are your thoughts? A kit for a crown like the ones below would be about $60.00 for EVERYTHING you would need to make it:
All you have to supply is glue and a glue gun. Does that sound like something you would be interested in? Tell me what you think. I appreciate your input!
Funny for today:
My 6 yr old and I were on the couch snuggling.
6 yr old: “mom, I know why girls still have boobs after they’re done nursing”
Me: “why’s that?”
6 yr old: “so their kids can use them for pillows”.
Thank you so much for all the interest in the wallpaper! All three packs are sold out. I don’t know if I’ll do another one or not, we’ll have to see. I’m still cutting all the orders I currently have and will have them shipped within a week of the order.
Quick little story…. Last night, while I was walking my 6 year old son to his bedroom so I could tuck him in to bed, he said “mama, look how fast I can move my hands” at which point he karate-chopped me right in the face. You just never know what will happen with kids! After I got done sneezing, I tried to explain spacial relations to him.
flocked detail (it looks gold-ish here, but it’s actually cream/white):
Have you noticed that I have not put anything up for sale in my shop since before Christmas! Christmas! I think I just needed a break. Needed a while to hunker down with my family and not have to cut wallpaper and make stuff and ship stuff. It was a really nice break, and I honestly think it did me a world of good. I focused more on teaching classes, enjoying my kids, and it made me realize that I don’t want to be a slave to anything.

But today is a new day! I was organizing all my wallpapers recently and thought about how many amazing patterns I’ve accumulated. I mean, really gorgeous stuff. I will never use it all, so I may as well share.
robin’s egg:
flocked detail (it looks goldish here, but i’s actually cream/white):
I’m offering three different packs: strawberry milkshake, chocolate & vanilla, & robin’s egg. Each pack will contain one piece of FLOCKED wallpaper. They will ALL be cut this way: Every pattern you see in the pack, you will get the width of the roll (all the way across, from edge to edge) by one foot long. If you decide you want 2 of the same patterned packs, let me know if you want me to cut them continuously or seperately. I know lots of people have said that they would rather have larger pieces, better for covering things like boxes, etc. So if you order 3 of one pack, and you want it all in 3 foot lengths instead of 3 pieces of 1 foot lengths, just let me know when you order. I will not cut these until you place your order, so give me a week to cut it, pack it, and get it out to you.
I am offering them at a very low price. They are $19.50 each. You get a TON of INCREDIBLE patterns in these packs and larger sheets, but cutting them this way makes it MUCH easier on me, so I don’t have to spend as much time cutting each pack.
They’ll be up some time this afternoon or evening. I will offer only 10 of each pack. These are big packs with all amazing papers, so I will only sell limited quantities of them.
In other news, I’ve been making myself a necklace. Loving it. I’ll show you when I’m done. What are you up to this fine early summer day? Have a great weekend!
My sweet little 3 year old, helping me water a little flower bed in the backyard. Don’t you love his “shorts”? That’s one of our kitties, Ethel, coming to check it out. Lucy is behind the camera, asleep on a chair. I love summer.
The Summer Crown Class from my last post is scheduled for Saturday, June 20.
Hey ya’ll! Watcha doin? I’m just enjoying my summer here in toasty Oklahoma. Playing with the kids, nursing a bit of a sun burn (or, as my 3 year old calls them… a sun ‘freeze’) and completely LOVING school being out!
Funny things from this week:
* My 3 year old came up to me, pulled my face to his face, and then rubbed his face all over mine. I said “what are you doing?” and he said “face snuggle”.
* Tried on bathing suits with 2 kids in the dressing room with me. Torture. You can imagine the comments from my audience.
* Watched a t-ball game for my kiddo. Played against (and lost to) a team that takes it WAY too seriously. ALL of the parents had on shirts that said this (seriously) “To play with us, you gotta be good… To stay with us, you gotta be tough… To beat us, you gotta be kidding“. Yep. The team consists of kindergartners. They made kids who had an error do 10 push-ups when they got back to the dugout. They SCREAMED at their kids the whole time. After they beat (read: pummeled) us, I’m pretty sure they water-boarded the kids who had to do the push-ups.
* Our team of happy losers got a snack and played on the playground after, feeling like heroes because they tried hard. Good times.
The pictures are of my class sample for the summer crown class I’m teaching this June at Paper Crown in Oklahoma City. If you’d like to take the class, call (405) 848-2389 and sign up. The cost is $60 and it includes everything you see here to make this crown. All you need to bring is your glue gun and some scissors!
*gold velvet leaves, ribbon, and silver boullion in the kit are all from One Hundred Wishes.
