Pretty vs. Ugly
Thought I’d share some pretty photos of pretty things around my normally pretty house. Like this stack of gorgeousness. Or these pretty chairs lined up in a row, like ladies in waiting, in my kitchen:
I need to remember the pretty things in life, because right now we are working on this MONSTROSITY in my back yard. This is still in the set-up phase, but it’s pretty much going to look like this when it’s done too! he he…. It’s a metal frame temporary pool that we can take down and put up every year.
It’s not much to look at, but it sure will be fun! The kids are so excited they can hardly stand it! Now, back to the regularly scheduled pretty programming:

ahhh, that’s better.

you will enjoy that pool, I’m sure! but I too prefer the pretty things.. You’ll enjoy all the pretty things better too, when your cool, relaxed and refreshed from being in the not so pretty pool!
have a great week!

I feel your pain , I am just about to get one just like it , but the peace it will bring will be worth a little less than pretty monster living in my backyard right????

So you DID end up getting one (upright pool)! Hahaha this post cracks me up! I’ll take a seat on the chair if you don’t mind. I wonder if it would float when the pools up? Nothing like “pretty” pool furniture! hee hee!

Holly, you are so cute…you are going to just love that pool when you see your boys splashing around in there having fun…

ah, such gorgeous ruffly prettiness. Love your eye for colour and detail
No, the pool is not pretty, but ooh, great fun! Most welcome, I’m sure. My little girl is hassling me to put out her paddling pool, but summer in England is a dodgy thing. Yesterday was bright and sunny and warm, but with a very harsh wind. Not paddling pool weather at all! Perhaps today will be lucky for her
